Getting an error 'Incorrect Login Credentials' after setting up a user with SAML authentication on Mygeotab

Issue:

Getting below mentioned error 'Incorrect Login Credentials' after setting up a user with SAML authentication on Mygeotab

 {"error":{"message":"Incorrect login credentials","code":-32000,"data":{"id":"196c6612-0fd0-45af-aa24-18a98eb59eb8","type":"InvalidUserException","requestIndex":0},"name":"JSONRPCError","errors":[{"message":"Incorrect login credentials","name":"InvalidUserException"}]},"jsonrpc":"2.0","requestIndex":0}"

Possible Resolution:

There are two possible resolutions for this issue. Please confirm the following with the customer:
  1. One of the common reason can be on System settings on Mygeotab, the Certificate Issuer field is populated as "Microsoft Azure Federated SSO Certificate" but commonly it's a URL and not a name. Please consult that this is properly formatted

  1.  Secondly, more as a warning, if you are passing first or last name to Geotab for authentication, it must match exactly, if the user says "David" but it's "Dave" on Mygeotab it will not go through
If the customer checked both those options and it's still not allowing login please contact Geotab and provide them the SAML response with Signed Assertion so they can check internally with 100% certainty what's the exception being raised. Example page to get SAML responses: Here
