How to create a hotspot from an AD Plus camera ?

This article explains how to create a hotspot from an AD Plus camera. 

This is an optional section in case the customer wants to leverage the camera as a hotspot to provide data to other devices


P.S: This is disabled by default and only enabled upon request 

  1. Access the camera’s configuration OTA using the maintenance portal/from IP address (if the device wifi is connected to system)/ from the Vesyus application..

  2. Navigate to the left side menu and expand Basic Setup

  3. Click on Network

  4. Under the WIFI tab:

    1. Lock: Make sure it is enabled 

    2. Enabled: Select AP mode

    3. WIFI Mode: Select either 2.4G or 5G or Auto \

    4. WIFI Setup:

      1. ESSID: Make sure it is the camera Serial Number (003F00XXXX) 

      2. Encryption: Select WPA

      3. Password: gofleet1234 

      4. Hotspot: Make sure it is enabled
