How to update the Configuration/Firmware for an AD Plus camera ?

This article explains how to update the Configuration/Firmware for an AD Plus camera. 

The following section is dedicated to instances where the device is not communicating with the network and requires an FW update. In this case, the support agent is required to collaborate with the customer in order to perform the update.


As a prerequisite, the agent needs to provide the Firmware file to the customer to perform the upgrade. 

P.S: The camera needs to be powered on, and needs to have the wifi turned on


  1. Connect to the camera through wifi where the SSID has the following format ST-003F00XXXX


  1. After connecting to the camera through Wifi, enter http://192.168.240.1/ to access the camera application (If it does not work on normal browser, try in incognito)

  2. After accessing the camera navigate to Maintenance, and click on Upgrade in the left side menu

  3. Upload the Firmware file in the Device Upgrade field and click Upgrade

  4. A success message is issued when the upgrade is done  

  5. If the upgrade is breaking when nearing, one workaround is to connect to the camera both on a laptop and a mobile device in order to keep the connection alive, and to do so:

    1. User accesses the camera by installing the Veyes App on both IOS & Google Play by entering the following information:

 

  1. Address: 192.168.240.1

  2. Port: 9006

  3. Username: admin

  4. Password: admin
