How to update the Geotab Assign the Unassigned logs in Bulk.

Introduction:

This will guide you step by step Assign the Unassigned logs to a particular driver or vehicle at one time.

Procedure

  1.  Login to the Geotab portal
  2. On the left panel click on the Activity tab.
  3. Under the activity tab now click on HOS.
  4. Select the Logs option.
  5. Now a new table will open in front of you which will help you to filter the logs.
  6. On the very left panel, you will see the Date range.
    The HOS logs will only be available through the driver filter not by the vehicle filter
  7. Now from the Driver list select the Unassigned Logs
  8. Then click on apply changes 
  9. Now you see the list of unassigned logs 
  10.  Now on your right side top corner where the total items will be written, next to click on select none and you will see the drop-down and select individual 
  11. Now you can select the multiple logs and then at the very top you will get the option Edit HOS logs 
  12. Now from here select the changes which you want to do and add the comment because without a sim the HOS log will give the error. 
  13. Then click on save 
Through this, we can assign multiple logs to a particular driver.
