Move Go device to a new vehicle

Move Go device to a new vehicle

Please follow the below steps to correctly move the device between vehicles :

Steps

  1. Physically unplug the GO device from the old vehicle
  2. In the MyGeotab database, click on Vehicles
  3. Select the old vehicle from which you just unplugged the GO device
  4. Click the More details button
  5. Click Unplug Device under the serial number field to make the vehicle historical
  6. Return to the Vehicles page and click Add > Add vehicle
  7. Insert serial number into the Serial number field and give the new vehicle a description
  8. Click OK to save
  9. Install the GO device in the new vehicle








Please note the serial number before unplugging the device
