ZenduMaps - Why diagonal lines are visible on the map
Issue
Seeing straight or diagonal lines on the public maps instead of vehicle trip history.
Reason
The diagonal lines on map appears when the GO device disconnects for sometime or has GPS connection issue.
Or maybe when the vehicle is travelling in a poor cellular connectivity area. However, when the device comes back online it does show the trips but as diagonal lines.
Important Note: Please check if the GPS device is showing 'potential bad installation' or 'GPS not responding' faults as this could be the reason of these lines are showing up on the map. Please check the installation and make sure it is secured and zip tied. Please follow the steps in below mentioned link to troubleshoot the GO device.
