The AI-12 Dashcam Settings on MyGeotab

To set up the Surfsight AI-12 Dashcam, follow these steps.

1.       Click on the 'Surfsight Add-In' on the left bar. Then click on the 'Vehicles' in the sub-menu.

 

2.       On the 'Vehicles' page, click on the 'Settings' button next to the vehicle you would like to set.

3.       Set the following parameters;

1.       Enable Distracted Driver: Enable/Disable the detection of distracted driver events

2.       Enable Audio Alerts: Enable/Disable audio and visual in-cab alerts of risky driving events

3.       In Cabin Recordings: Enable/Disable in-cabin video recordings

4.       Video Text Overlay: Enable/Disable the text overlay on the video

5.       Speed Units in Text Overlay: Set the speed units to be presented on the video

6.       Time Units in Text Overlay: Set the time units to be presented on the video

7.       Enable Live Video Streaming: Enable/Disable live video streaming from vehicles

8.       Idle Minutes to Enter Standby: Set the minutes from when the camera stop moving until it enters standby* mode.

*In standby mode the camera is not streaming live video, records video, or upload video events except vibration event and tamper-proof event. Standby mode allows retrieving video events and recordings from the cloud.
